Shawnay & Reba McEntire

Shawnay had always dreamed of meeting her favorite country singer, Reba McEntire.  So, The Dream Factory of Central Missouri set about making her dream come true. Shawnay and her mother traveled to Los Angeles, CA where they visited Disney Land and Sea World, went star spotting and watched a movie crew filming on the beach.   Finally, the day Shawnay had dreamed of arrived!  She attended a Reba McEntire concert and then met the singer and took photos with her. Shawnay’s mother summed the trip up best when she wrote, “My child, for a week, was able to be lifted from her disabilities and discover the beauty of dreams fulfilled. How do I express my thanks? I do not know. Forever I will be inadequate at saying thank you.”
